GT-SUITE V2017 Release Candidate

As announced by Gamma Technologies, the Release Candidate of GT-SUITE v2017 is ready for download, where final improvements of the version will be officially released in late January 2017, called Build 1 and is intended for general uses, according to the offical announcement made in the website (link provided).

GT-SUITE, developed by Gamma Technologies, is an all-in-one CAE and detailed 3-D modelling tool, inclusive of structural and thermal 3-D FEA (in-situ meshers), 3-D CFD, and multi-body dynamics with flexible bodies. The software is compatible with CAD modelling.

In the webcast, Henrik Koblauch will present his work to use musculoskeletal models to evaluate loading of the lower back in airport baggage handlers. The presentation includes the efforts to validate the lumbar spine model for estimating lumbar loading in lifting tasks. The second part of the webcast will present the musculoskeletal modeling of baggage handlers working inside the luggage compartment of a Boeing 737-800.
