3rd International Conference on Movement, Health, and Exercise (MoHE) 2016
We are proud to announce that University of Malaya will be organizing the 3rd International Conference on Movement, Health, and Exercise (MoHE) from the 28th to 30th September 2016. After two previous successful events held in 2014 by Universiti Malaysia Pahang and in 2015 by Universiti Sains Malaysia – this years’ conference is set be the biggest one yet.
The hosting of MoHE 2016 will be managed by the Faculty of Engineering and the Sports Centre, University of Malaya, Malaysia. The University, being the oldest and the most esteemed in the country was the first to offer a sports and exercise science degree in Malaysia some 20 years ago, and has impeccable track record in various research and publication work. It boasts of state-of-the-art laboratories and an eminent faculty. The University also has been the alma mater of numerous renowned national and international athletes who have contributed to its rich history in the fields of sports and exercise. As per the previous events, this year’s conference will be again supported by the Sports Division, Ministry of Higher Education.
The conference, having a theme of “Engineering Olympic Success: From Theory to Practice”, will offer a platform for scientists, researchers and professionals to present, share and learn the latest developments in the areas of:
- biomechanics,
- coaching and pedagogy,
- sports and exercise psychology,
- health and fitness,
- molecular biology and biochemistry,
- motor behaviour,
- nutrition,
- physical education,
- exercise physiology,
- neuroscience,
- rehabilitation and physiotherapy,
- sports technology and engineering,
- regenerative medicine,
- prosthetics and orthotics.
- sports medicine.
The conference calls for abstracts is now open and closes on the 31st of May 2016. Selected papers will be invited to submit full length articles for consideration for publication in the Movement Health & Science Journal published by the Ministry of Higher Education.
The conference will take place from 28 – 30 September, 2016 in the culturally rich state of Melaka.
